There are many types of aluminum sheet, both thick and thin, and each type of aluminum sheet has its specific uses. Thin aluminum plates are prone to deformation during processing, which has always plagued many manufacturers, leading to small and medium-sized manufacturers no longer producing thin aluminum sheets. 1. There are two reasons why thin aluminum sheet is prone to deformation:

(1) When compressed, the product is deformed by a aluminum sheet white, and elastic deformation occurs when the compressive force is released, causing changes in geometric accuracy.

(2) Removing the material causes the material's internal stress to redistribute, causing deformation.

2. In actual production, we solve the problem of processing deformation of aluminum sheet from these two directions:

(1) Rough milling plane:

After pressing and confirming that the state of the workpiece is consistent with the state before pressing, that is, before pressing, for example, a corner is raised by 1mm. After pressing, this corner should continue to rise by 1mm (this involves continuous clamping and finding the right technique and feel). In short, it keeps the workpiece in a free state when it is clamped.

(2) Semi-precision milling:

After milling a large surface with the above method, the face can be used as a reference for positioning, and it can be bonded to the workbench surface with 502 or double-sided tape (no longer using pressing methods, which is the key) and milling another surface. (Note that the cutting amount should not be too large).

(4) Precision milling:

After the above two steps, the roughing of subsequent machining projects can be performed on a large plate. After completion, keep it in an unstressed state for more than 96 hours (natural aging). Then carry out precision machining. When precision machining, still use tape or 502 bonding method for clamping. Precision machining plane, precision machining other items to be machined.
